Coaching Education Training Program to be run by Doug Williamson
Northern Elite Soccer is pleased to announce its upcoming Coaching Education Training Program, which will be led by NSCAA Assistant Director of Coaching Education and Development, Doug Williamson.
On Saturday, May 16, Doug Williamson will run two separate training sessions for NES coaches to observe and learn from. The schedule of these sessions is as followed:
1:00-3:00 – Tactical session involving the choreography and movements within the 1-3-4-3 system. This session will use high school aged players and will be geared more towards tactics and systems of play.
4:00-6:00 – Coerver-type session progressing into small-sided matches, focusing on specific principles of the game. This session will use U12 and U14 players and will be geared more towards technique and principles of play.
These sessions are open and free to all NES members and all coaches are strongly encouraged to take full advantage of these sessions.
During the training, Doug will be instructing the players within the session and will also offer guidance and education to the coaches in attendance.
This is a great opportunity for the members of NES and we are very privileged to have such a distinguished and nationally recognized trainer educate our players and coaches.
