The NESC Girls U12 Tigers played some incredible soccer this weekend as they took 2nd place in the CMSA Columbus Classic. The Tigers started slow against Hickory, pulling out a 1 to 0 victory. A hard fought 3 to 0 win versus Cockeysville closed out the Saturday games.
The Tigers (2-0) faced a tough Towson United (2-0) team and despite giving up an early goal persevered with some tough physical soccer and won 4 to 2. With this win the Tigers faced the EPIC Storm (West Virginia Premier Team). The EPIC Storm won their first three games by a combined score of 20 to 0. The Tigers played the Storm tough but fell in the final 3 to 1.
