This past Monday we finished our first indoor soccer session with an explosive final game. The boys really put an exclamation point on the season by winning the last two games 6-4 and 6-1 respectively against teams that competed on our level throughout the year. We finished the indoor season in third place.
The indoor season had it's ups and downs , but overall was a success. Many of the boys were playing indoor(on a turf field) for the first time and really started to figure out how to utulize the smaller and faster field to their advantage as well as using the boards effectively. One of the great aspects of playing indoor is that it can teach the boys a certain level of physicality. This is a lesson that many of them learned and i hope keep with them as we prepare to get ready for outdoor play again in the Spring.
